The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in its continuous endeavor to create a cleaner and transparent system in the Indian telecom industry has released a new regulation in July 2018 to curb Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC) and enhance mobile subscriber privacy, TCCCPR2018 Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulation 2018, Regulation can be downloaded here.
The Regulation is intended to eliminate spam and fraud which has been a concern for many years. The regulation has mandated the use of Blockchain technology also known as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) to implement the solution.

Please note the below points before registering under the DLT platform.
· Principle Enterprises need to register as an Entity
· Re-sellers need to register as Telemarketer Aggregator
· Enterprises directly connected to Telecom operators need to register as Telemarketer
Entity/Telemarketer/Telemarketer Aggregator registration includes details of KYC (Know Your Customer) documents like PAN, GST, TAN, CIN, etc. The process has been designed for easy and quick completion.

After submission, there will be a KYC verification process and post that your organization will get a unique Entity ID.
Important: Once the operator approves your KYC details under the DLT platform, please share with us your Unique entity here
We can also register your organization under the DLT platform from our end on behalf of you if you provide the mentioned KYC documents along with email id, mobile number and proof of payment. Please note that we require your help in receiving OTP from you while registering under DLT from our end.
